Vegas update

"How quick the sun can drop away."Pearl Jam - Black

So I never updated about my weekend in Vegas immediately following Christmas went.

The plane trip was short this time, only 45min. But, our baggage seemed to take forever. The limo driver took our bags, and packed them all up. We headed off to Excalibur, which is only about 7 minutes away. Then the guy took our stuff over to VIP check-in, where they had our roomkeys, and a bell hop waiting for us. We went up to our rooms, (which had a really great view this time) and unpacked. Jacob headed down to the casino with Mack and he came back an hour or two later, $200 up. =D I started calling arround that night to find out what shows were in town.

Penn and Teller were at the Rio. First off. I REALLY love the Rio's buffet. It is THE GOD of all buffets. And, I absolutely ADORE Penn and Teller. So, I called for show times and ticket prices. $80 a pop, and their only show with open seats for that night was at 7. The reception was over at 8. Which could of worked, if the Rio wasn't allllll the way at the very end of the strip. Throw in Travel time, and we would of missed half of the show.

Ok, so that wasn't going to work. But, Blue Man group at Luxor (one of the adjoining hotels to Exaclibur) would. I talked it over with Jacob, and he was all for it. We got up in the morning, and had breakfast at Mandalay Bay (the other joining hotel) with Dick, Judy, Mom & Dad, Sebastion, Bobby, and Collette. Bobby is by far, my favorite of Jacob's uncles. He's really a nice guy. And, Collette is the aunt (from France) and she is just so nice too. She is going to talk to Caroline (Jacob's cousin) to tell her we are going to France this summer, and shes going to ask her if we can stay at her place! She lives right near Notre Dame, so, thats really really cool.

After that, Jacob and I went to Luxor to buy tickets. I asked her what seats were available, and how much the tickets were. Expensive, and Almost last row.

I'll take it. You only live once, and, there is NEVER a bad seat in Las Vegas. The auditorium was small anyways, so I knew we would be able to see. Let me tell you. This was a fucking great show. The interaction is great, the effects, and the sound. The drumming is incredible. Being in drumline in school, I always loved it. The sound, the FEELING of that sound. The whole thing of it. I loved it. Seeing blue man, took my breath away. Phenomenal. Spectacular. Amazing. Great. Wonderful. I can't say enough praise about it. If you are ever in Vegas, or have the opportunity to see the show, beg, borrow, steal, the money to go see it. I promise, it is MORE then worth the cash you pay to get in.

Blue Man Group!

Jacob just got home from work, we're going to PetCo today to pick out my birthday present. See you soon!
