I'm such a putz. I have really been meaning to update for a while now, and everytime I walk over to the computer, I end up doing something other then updating.
But, I'm making the attempt here at work now. Speaking of work. I've been doing it non-stop for about 2 weeks now. The paychecks are really nice, but I don't do anything besides go to work, grocery shopping, errands, go to the other work, come home, watch taped TV shows, eat and go to bed.
Here is a typical daily timeline for me:
9:00am - Alarm goes off, Jacob gets up and showers.
9:20A - Jacob asks me how I am feeling and I reply by rolling over in bed.
9:21am-9:30am - Jacob talks to me until I get out of bed, making it impossible to go back to bed.
9:31A-9:50am - Shower/get ready
10:00am - Get to Intuit, where I work on Intuit work as well as H&R Block stuff. I make phone calls, work on my spreadsheets, etc.
1pm- Lunch - usally I'll grab something while I'm out. I'm typically doing errands during htis time. (Today I went to AAA for my passport stuff)
5 or 6pm - Leave work, go to H&R Block, where I deal with idiocy for about an hour or 2. Then, nearly everyone leaves and it's just me and my boss. I work on Payroll, financial information, budgeting, human resources, complaints, paying bills, refunds, collections, and just about everything else.
8:52pm - Get dinner. I don't always do this, because, I must do this before 9. Everything near by (food wise) closes at 9. If I don't eat now, I either don't eat all day, or eat when I get home.
12:15am - Leave H&R Block, go grocery shopping.
1:00am - (When I don't go to the grocery store, I typically come home and clean while I'm watching TV) Take grocerys upstairs, unpack, and change clothes.
1:10am - Start dinner if I haven't ate yet. Rewind taped TV shows as follows:
(Monday - 7th Heaven, Everwood - 2 hours)
(Tuesday - Smallville - 1 Hour)
(Wednesday - Nothing on)
(Thursday - CSI, ER - 2 hours)
(Friday - Nothing on)
(Sat. - Nothing on)
(Sunday - 6 feet under, Soppranos, Frontier House - 3 hours [I watch all of these on TV, not on a tape])
2-3am- Shower and go to bed.
I work both jobs everyday except Sat. & Sun. On Sat, I'm at H&R Block at 8:30am till about 3 or 4. On Sundays, I don't go to any job, but I typically do laundry, the mountain of dishes, visit the parents, make phone calls, cook dinner, pay bills, catch a movie, and just chill out for the rest of the day.
I work way too much. But, I almost have my trip to Europe paid off. Well, the plane tickets that is. We are now looking into the cost of rail tickets, and hotel rooms in France and other places we want to visit outside of Germany. Plus, I still have to pay for the passports, $85/person.
So, working all of these hours is really helping the bills. The only thing is, I wish I was working more at Intuit then I am at block. Speaking of block, I'm going to ask for a raise pretty soon. Any ideas on how to go about it successfully?
