The most wonderful time of the year
”How dare you say that my behavior is unacceptable!”Maroon 5 – Harder to Breathe
My grandmother is in town. And we all know how much I favor her! Yeah.
You know, it’s funny, how you can a relative can have such a great loving relationship, and suddenly it turns to a steaming heap of shit. You know what’s funnier? The whole incident that caused the heap DIDN’T EVEN HAPPEN. A simple apology should take care of things. BUT, the accusing party REFUSES to admit they were wrong. Pride is everything you know. Furthermore, your other relatives think that you should “kiss and make-up” so to speak. Let it be water under the bridge.
Fuck. That.
You ruined my reputation. You accused me, and RUINED what could have been one of the best evenings of my life. And now, there is this awkwardness, this SHAME that YOU have for YOURSELF. You know the events that took place, and you probably even know who did the deed. That is, if you just simply didn’t remember what the fuck you did with it. And nobody is to blame but yourself.
All I want is an apology and a restoration of character. A simple, “I’m sorry I falsely accused you, for blah blah blah.” And for her to say to my relatives “She didn’t do it. This is what really happened ....” But I guess that either of those things is just too much to ask.
On a less angry note, my Secret Santa left me a message in my guestbook. =D I was uber excited! She/He said that my gift is on its way! ROCK@!#@* heh. So, today I sent my secret Santa her present. Amazon said it should arrive on Dec.13. Plenty of time for Christmas.
I’m almost done with my Christmas shopping. I need to finish shopping for Jacob (I actually started a week ago!), and I need to do Jacob’s Dad. We got him a DVD, and I think we are going to buy him cooking stuff. Last year, we bought him a gas grill. It was pretty cool and he was really surprised.
My soup mix came in the mail. I ordered 2 gifts from Project Bean. I bought the soup mug with Pasta e Fagioli. And a gift container of just the soup. I think the whole thing only cost me like $25. It makes an excellent gift exchange item for the office, or for someone you don’t really know what to give them, but you have to give them SOMETHING. I’m giving the mug/soup gift set away at our work gift exchange. I’m keeping the soup for myself. And now that I’ve seen the finished product, I’m gonna buy another gift mug set for my Mom’s boyfriend. The gift set is only $15. And, all of the money goes to help homeless women gain job skills. It’s a really cool deal. Something that I thought was cool, is that each package of soup has a label on it that says “Handmade lovingly by________” And the woman signs her name.
