i am in love
I have just had the most romantic night ever. I thought that it would be kinda crappy, but it turned out perfect.
My Mom’s b-day is this weekend so I told her that she could have all weekend to herself. Last night Jacob came over. We were going to watch some movies and order in pizza. =)
We took the kids to go get food, and PIZZA HUT WAS OUT OF DOUGH! I was pissed so we went to round table pizza (effin good stuff for all of you that don’t have the privilege….) got food, and went to blockbuster and rented “three kings” and “dogma”.
Jacob and I put John to bed, and Chris was busy with his friends outside.
We were alone. Together.
I spread a blanket on the ground and brought another out and pillows. We watched the movie, and I just laid there falling asleep in his arms. I couldn’t stop smiling. I fell asleep and after the movie was over he woke me up to tell me he was going to stay. I kissed him. I felt so wonderful. We just kissed for about an hour. Just sweet innocent little kisses. I was the happiest I have ever been.
This is perfection. It was raining outside. (It NEVER rains in San Diego…) The air when it rains has a smell to it. And having someone hold you close while it is pouring outside under a warm blanket is just the best thing to have.
He fell asleep before I did, and he was still holding my hand, I was in his arms. I can’t even begin to tell you how perfect this was. I felt like if anything was ever right in my life, this was it. I could spend forever right there. I fell asleep in his arms. I woke up to him kissing me just the same as I fell asleep. It was the greatest feeling I have ever had in my life.
Some people “live” their whole “lives” never finding true love, but what is life if you have no one to share it with? That is love. I can honestly say now, that I have lived.
