I've got badass news! Well I missed the DKM concert a few weeks back, BUT, I AM going to see Saves the Day on Dec 10 with special guest THRUSDAY! :D Imma pee muh pants!
ALSOOOOOOOOOOO. If that wasn't enuf to rawk muh sawks, Mom bought me tickets to see Social Distortion on Dec 18, what would of been my Dad's 50th birthday.
Anywho. I haven't played the cd in a long long time - white light, white heat, white trash. And, I nearly forgot how much I love this band and this cd. Feels good to get back to my roots. :)
So lets discuss whats been going on in my life since forever. Well I work at Intuit now. And, I love my job, cept, its just a job for the tax season. But, after that I'm going to be working at H&R block as a receptionist. *shrug*
I'm still living with Jacob. I'm working 70 hrs a week. 12 hour days, and then the weekends. I took off a few days to be with myself and my mom and yeah.
I went to Thanksgiving with Jacob at my Moms. It was good. I miss hangin out with my Mom alot. She moved into a new house and it rocks! It reminds me of our house back east. Wich I miss alot in the winter.
I spent this weekend shopping for Christmas. I went with Jacob out on Friday and we got stuff for my Mom and for his dad and for my brothers. We still have to buy for each other, for his Mom, and for his brother.
I spent yesterday with my Mom and we went shopping and got lunch and she made me halushki (ha-loosh-key). And then I went home.
Well the update with my brother is as follows, he's in re-hab at a new school, get drug tested every couple of days. He's been clean for about a month. But, mom thinks he's still dealing. Which blows. =
Mom is superbly happy and I'm so glad for her. She loves her new house, and she's been with a guy named Tom for about 5 months now. He has two little girls 6 and 10. Her job is going well, and everything is looking on the up for her.
My grandma is comming out in like 3 weeks to visit until the middle of March. Which, is gonna blow.
I'm sending out Christmas cards, and I have a ton of phone calls to make, but, I hate it when people hate me, it makes it hard for me to call because I don't know if they want to talk to me or not. yeah.
Did you know nesquik makes hot cocoa with bunny marshmallows? Well they do and its nummie. I'm going to make cookies with Jacob today.
OH! Well Jacob and I have saw quite a few movies lately. We rented Swordfish on Wed. And I really liked it! We took my littlest Brother John, to see Harry Potter and I liked it. But I felt bad for Harry. Did you know they kept him under stairs for like, 12 years of his life? Those people should die for that!
Anyways, I liked it, but It WAS long. (2.5 hrs.)
Ok, we saw Shallow Hal like a week ago, and I liked it, except I cried for like 10 min after Hal sees the little girl in the hospital AFTER his magic vision wears off. It made me think of my dad and I just couldn't stop crying at all. :*(
I saw Monsters Inc the weekend it came out. And, I REALLY REALLLLLLLLY loved that movie. :D And, I've concluded that I want a baby like Boo.
Hmmm. I know there is a ton more to talk ab... oh! Holy ass! Ok, Jacob and I have a HUGE summer planned. We are going to Hawaii in June for 2 weeks. We are going to Las Vegas for his 21 birthday (7/21) in July for a week. And, in August, we are going to Germany to visit Laura for 3 weeks.
We are staying with Jacobs best friends uncle in Hawaii for free, so we just need airline $. His rents are paying for the whole week in Vegas (his Dad is a highroller in Vegas, so he gets free room and meal comps and we're driving, so thats good.) Germany is what's gonna cost alot. $650 a ticket to Germany, and we stay with Laura for Free, but, we'd have to have spending $ and $ to do the tours and stuff. So, :D It's gonna rock!!!!! Hawaii isn't set in stone yet, but we're working on it.
Jacob and I are going to move out in January. It's weird. heh. We bought a microwave the other day, and we are gonna get a table after Christmas.
I'm spending Xmas in West Beverly Hills with Jacobs cousin, Serena. She's just what you'd expect from someone that lives in that area. Blah. I really don't like her. Ugh. She told me I looked 'fruggish' last time I met her. Not to mention that I was horribly sick, I had this phlem nasal cough fever chill thing.
Anyways. I'm going to go check out all the diarys I usally do, cause I haven't had the time lately, then I'm gonna write more xmas cards. :)
