Sorry i havne't been a dedicated updater. I've been working 2 full-time jobs. I just finished a 17 hour day. I should be moving furniture. I'm FINALLY getting my entertainment center tomorow btwn 9 and 1. Stupid fuckers. I've waited over a month for thing thing! But, at least I'm getting it for my dinner thingy.
This weekend, Jacob's parents, my Mom, Tom, and John, are all coming over for dinner. I'm serving trout, stuffed flank steak.... actually I'm pretty sure I went over this in my last entry. Well, I'm having 7 people for dinner. And, I haven't bought any of the food yet, cleaned the house, laundry, etc. etc. etc.

I love 24 hour grocery stores. All of them here are 24 hours. I would DIE without them! Anyways, I'll be doing all of my cleaning tomorow while I'm waiting for the furniture delivery tards. Then I'll be working at Intuit for a few hours. We are having a party tomorow for 2 hours, so that rocks! (and I get paid for it!) Then after I put in my 8 hours there, I'll go to Block and put in at least another 5. HAPPY. HAPPY. HAPPY.
This means that I will be getting home from my day of work at about 11pm. HURRAY! Then, I will go to the grocery store, buy food, then take it home and do the prep work, marinate, chop, de-thaw, bake, etc.
And, Sat. morning I will get up at 7am, go to Block till noon. Then, I will come home, do laundry. While that is going, I will finish cleaning the house. When it's time to dry the clothes, I will dry them, and THEN start cooking dinner. Then I'll run to the grocery store for the 2 ingredients I forgot. When I get back, I will take whatever I burnt out of the oven and get the laundry. I must start the appetizer at this point. OR EVERYONE WILL STARVE.
Everyone shows up about 6:30. At least I bought myself a little time. If things are looking really bad about 6ish. I will be going to the greek place down the street.
Not only is all of this REALLY hard to put together, BUT, I have both sets of parents in the room. AND, I had to make food choices involving the following food allergies:
Don (Jacob's Dad) - Allergic to MSG and Nuts
Stelle (Jacob's Mom) - Allergic to Soy and Lactose Intollerant, Bell Peppers make her puke.
Jacob - Non-greasy foods, lactose intollerant, allergic to mushrooms.
Tom - (Mom's boyfriend for about a year and a half now) Allergic to eggs.
MY FAMILY ISN'T ALLERGIC TO ANYTHING!
I'll let you know how the greek food is...
BTW, Chelsea called tonight. I was at work. (of course.) I just wanted to say HURRAY because SOMEONE called me! None of you EVER call, not even to say 'hi' or whatever. =(
